Wire EDM is a precision method used for cutting parts that are smaller in size, at high volumes and with great precision. Using wire EDM we can cut extremely intricate shapes, including odd angles, sharp contours, cavities and tapers. Because the EDM process is computer controlled, we can duplicate your precision parts with virtually identical tolerances.
Plunge EDM | Sinker EDM

Plunge EDM, or sinker EDM is different from wire EDM in that the cut doesn’t need to go all the way through the material. By using sinker EDM we have the ability to produce parts that require other characteristics, such as thin walls, or blind cavities. We’ll often rely on sinker EDM when called upon to produce injection molds or metal stamping dies, as an example.

Drilling deep, small holes using conventional equipment is sometimes impossible. Using our small hole EDM drilling capabilities (often referred to as hole popping), we are able to provide precise EDM drilling for both production quantities as well as smaller runs of parts. Because of the low machining forces used during the small hole EDM drilling process, we can drill extremely delicate parts.
